She lamented though that Corona virus had made it impossible for the group to play with the children.

WEADI she noted is an NGO that’s focused on advancing the Rights and Equality of women and girls. They work with the poorest and most remote parts of Nigeria providing succour to vulnerable women and children.

WEADI’s grassroot engagements strives for Gender Inclusive Education and Development which will lead to the eradication of poverty, illiteracy and promotion of self sustainability.

The WEADI program overtime will touch as many Nigerians as possible, the ED WEADI stated.

PST Regina Omo-Agege prayed for God to bless the proprietress and all the care givers at the Home. Noting that the role of catering for such special children was not easy. She prayed for God to grant them the grace to do more.

The propritress of Mother Theresa Children’s Home, Ms Catherine Emeagwali thanked WEADI for the kind gesture and prayed for God to bless them.

She noted that the Home housed 23 children who are brought to them by government and that their role was to cater for these children until a family adopts them through government.
